- 8 Legs (2-6 miles/leg)
-
$80 / first runner
$40 / each additional runner

Register & Run
Pick your team.
The 39 miles are divided into 8 legs, which can be split between teams of 1-8 members. So figure out how much fun you want to have and assemble your team. (If you’d like to run solo as an ultra, please contact the race director, Laura Broussard for special permission).
You’ll need a team name — like Nordic Knights.
And you’ll need to have an average team pace to register. The best way to gauge your team pace is to get everybody’s racing 10k time and find the average.
Choose your captain.
Once you have your team, times, and name, designate someone to be the team captain. The captain will register the team, pay the entry fee, receive email communications (start times, leg updates, etc.), AND bring the signed waivers to the check-in table on race day.
Register & Run
All the forms required will be sent to team captains in about two months before the race. The captain is responsible for submitting a complete team list and team member by December 15th, and providing signed waivers from every runner on the team at check-in on race day.
You will be able to pick up bibs and team packets the day before the race or on the race morning. You will also receive a support vehicle tag that must be displayed for parking at exchange zones. ONLY ONE VEHICLE PER TEAM IS ALLOWED ON THE COURSE. Other vehicles will not be allowed at exchange zones as parking is very limited.

Race Day
On race day, arrive at the start line and check-in at least 30 minutes before your start time. (A few weeks before the race your team captain will receive your start time.)
Once your first runner begins, your team will drive to the next exchange and wait. Each team is only allowed ONE vehicle on the course and at exchange zones. Once your runner arrives, and makes the exchange, the next runner takes over. Most exchange zones will have bathrooms.
Each team provides its own support food, water, first aid, etc. so, make sure you have everything you need.

Places to Stay
There are no actual hotels in South Carolina’s Scandinavia, but runners have been able to find rental houses (Air Bn’B / VRBO) in nearby towns/communities.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do your offer volunteer opportunities?
Yes! From putting up signs, to setting up start and finish lines, to managing exchange zones, we couldn’t do this without the help of volunteers.
How long are the teams given to complete the race?
Teams should have an average pace under 12 min./mile in order to complete the race.
We will assign start times several weeks before the race based on pace. We are anticipating the first wave to begin around 5:30 AM, with runners starting every 30 minutes until around 8 AM. We plan to close the course at 3 PM.
Can I sponsor the event?
Yes! We gladly accept sponsorships at all levels. Contact us to let us know you’d like to sponsor.
