Register & Run
The twelve legs make it easy to divide among a team of 2, 3, 4, or 6 runners. So figure out how much fun you want to have and assemble your team.
You’ll need a team name — like Crazy Dam Runners.
You will be able to pick up bibs and team packets the day before the race or on the race morning. You will also receive a support vehicle tag that must be displayed for parking at exchange zones. ONLY ONE VEHICLE PER TEAM IS ALLOWED ON THE COURSE. Other vehicles will not be allowed at exchange zones as parking is very limited.
- PICK YOUR TEAM.
Figure out how many people you want on your team, then pick your team name.
(When you register, you’ll need to have an average team pace/finish time.)
- CHOOSE YOUR CAPTAIN.
Once you have your team, times, and name, designate someone to be the team captain. The captain will register the team and pay the entry fee.
- REGISTER & RUN.
Every other team member will join the team your captain has created. You can find your team on Race Roster or get the code or link from your team captain. All teammates will need to register on Race Roster. This allows all teammates to choose their t-shirt size and sign their waiver. (No more turning in waivers on race day!!!!!!)

Race Day
On race day, arrive at the Lake Murray Dam start line (Lake Murray Park 1834 N Lake Dr. Lexington, SC 29072) and check-in at least 30 minutes before your start time. (A few weeks before the race your team captain will receive your start time.)
Once your first runner begins, your team will drive to the next exchange and wait. Each team is only allowed ONE vehicle on the course and at exchange zones. Once your runner arrives, and makes the exchange, the next runner takes over. Most exchange zones will have bathrooms.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do your offer volunteer opportunities?
Yes! From putting up signs, to setting up start and finish lines, to managing exchange zones, we couldn’t do this without the help of volunteers.
How long are the teams given to complete the race?
Teams should have an average pace under 12 min./mile in order to complete the race. The race starts at 5 am and teams must be finished by 5 pm.
Start times are staggered based on pace, with waves of teams leaving every 15 minutes. Captains must submit a team pace as accurate as feasible so that we can schedule the start times accordingly. The best way to gauge your team pace is to find the average 10k pace between all your runners.
Can I sponsor the event?
Yes! We gladly accept sponsorships at all levels. Contact us to let us know you’d like to sponsor.
