The Old Mill Marathon Relay is a brand new 26.2 mile race around The Old Mill Pond Trail in Lexington SC.

Register & Run

The 26.2 miles are comprised of exactly 23 laps around The Old Mill Pond Trail. Teams of 1-5 runners can compete in what is sure to be a fast relay. You’ll need a team name — like Chafing the Dream — and you’ll need to have a goal completion time. How fast can your team do a marathon?!

1. PICK YOUR TEAM.

Figure out how many people you want on your team, and choose a team name. Then determine your average pace (typically based on the average 10K pace for all of your runners).

2. CHOOSE YOUR CAPTAIN.

Once you have your team, times, and name, someone will need to be the team captain. The captain will register the team and pay the entry fee.

3. REGISTER & RUN.

Every individual team member will register themselves AFTER the captain has registered the team. The captain will receive a specific code for your team that should be sent out to all teammates, (or you can search your team name on Race Roster if your captain is slack).

All teammates will need to register on Race Roster. This allows each individual to choose their t-shirt size and sign the digital waiver. (No more turning in waivers on race day!!!!!!)

Packet Pickup

Packet pick-up will be the day before the race (or on race morning if absolutely necessary). You will also receive a support vehicle tag that must be displayed for parking at exchange zones. ONLY ONE VEHICLE PER TEAM IS ALLOWED ON THE COURSE. Other vehicles will not be allowed at exchange zones as parking is very limited.

Race Day
